Dr. Solvejg Schulz has been a consultant in the Programme Accreditation department at the Head Office of the German Accreditation Council since 2023, where she is responsible in particular for health study programmes, qualification goals, curriculum and competence-oriented assessment as well as recognition and accreditation.
After studying General Linguistics and German Studies at the University of Osnabrück and Háskóli Íslands and a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, she completed her doctorate in German Linguistics in Osnabrück. At the same time, she completed two certificates, University Didactics Qualification and Higher Education Development, while working.
After around ten years in higher education teaching and student advisory services at the universities of Osnabrück and Münster, she moved to the field of academic management and worked as a consultant for program development and accreditation in the Department of Teaching Quality at the University of Münster, which she most recently headed on a deputy basis.
