Ketevan Becker (1987) has been working for the Foundation as a consultant since 2016. Since July 2022, she has been head of ELIAS, the Foundation’s web-based application processing system, and is responsible for the further development of the system, maintaining the database of accredited study programmes and higher education institutions, process documentation and Interfaces. In her role, she is also responsible for the technical management of the ELIAS team and the planning of technical requirements and resources. Another focus of her work is the collaboration on program accreditation applications and public relations (maintenance of the website and social media channels).
Previously, she worked as a coordinator in the International Affairs Program and Institutional Accreditation Unit at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement in Georgia, where she planned accreditation procedures, managed databases and helped develop quality assurance guidelines. Further professional stations led her to the European Voluntary Service at the Stadtjugendring Würzburg and to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she worked in the field of European and bilateral relations.
Ketevan Becker studied Business Administration at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and completed an exchange semester at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. She also holds a Master of Advanced Studies in European Integration from the European Institute at the University of Basel and is currently studying part-time in Science Management (MPA) at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer. Her international experience is complemented by her work in European projects and her multilingualism.
