Adriane Janosch (1991) is deputy head of the Alternative Procedures department and a consultant in the Program Accreditation department at the German Accreditation Council. There she deals with the accreditation of alternative quality assurance procedures of higher education institutions and is responsible for study programs in the field of social professions and dual study programmes within the framework of programme accreditation.
Previously, she was Deputy Head of International Affairs for International Accreditation at the accreditation agency FIBAA. In this role, she was responsible for program and institutional accreditation in Europe and Southeast Asia and was involved in the development of international cooperation. Her professional career began at the National Agency at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training in project monitoring for Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships.
She studied Sociology and Modern Japan at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and completed her Master’s degree in Asian Studies at the University of Bonn. Her experience abroad, including in Japan and the USA, has also shaped her understanding of intercultural cooperation in an academic context.
