128. Meeting of the Accreditation Council
The Accreditation Council convened for its 128th meeting in Berlin on March 12/13, 2026, which included
was the first meeting in the 2026 to 2029 term of office. He welcomed eight new members to the Accreditation Council and bid farewell to the former members.
Hans-Joachim Bargstädt as Chairperson and Prof.
Dr. Ulrich Bartosch as Deputy Chairperson were confirmed in their offices.
Furthermore, the Accreditation Council received
- 191 applications for programme accreditation, which covered 519 study programmes, and
- eleven applications for system accreditation and
- Alternative Procedures
for a decision.
In addition, the Accreditation Council has set up a working group to develop regulations for the evaluation of Alternative Procedures.
