On November 5–6, 2026, the joint conference of the German Rectors’ Conference and the German Accreditation Council, in collaboration with the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, will take place on the topic “Reorienting the Accreditation System in a Resilient Academic System: Strengthening Internationalization and a Culture of Quality.”
The event brings together representatives from higher education institutions, agencies, science policy circles, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss current reform needs and future prospects in the field of accreditation.
