The Accreditation Council owns an independent database of accredited study programmes since 8 January 2019. Please note that there may still be limitations in the data quality as a result of the data migration. We ask for your patience.
If you have any questions, please contact us via mail. We are making every effort to clean up the data as quickly as possible.
According to the requirements of the new legal situation, the accreditation results:
- in programme and system accreditation are published in the database by the Accreditation Council in each case after a decision has been made.
- of the study programmes to which a (partially) system-accredited higher education institution has awarded the seal of the Accreditation Council are entered in the database by the (partially) system-accredited higher education institutions.
- of the study programmes whose accreditation procedures were carried out according to the old law, are entered into the database by the agencies.
The database is available in German only.

Suche in der Datenbank
Um die historischen (ausgelaufenen) Akkreditierungen einsehen zu können, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor: im ersten Schritt öffnen Sie das Menü links und klicken Sie auf „Akkreditierungsdatenbank“ - „akkreditierte Studiengänge“ oder „akkreditierte Hochschulen“ (siehe die blauen Markierungen im Screenshot).
Geben Sie dort die gewünschte Studiengangsbezeichnung ein. Über „Erweiterte Suche öffnen“ (siehe die blaue Markierung im Screenshot) können Sie den Suchprozess nach zusätzlichen Angaben (Hochschule, Abschlussgrad, Akkreditierungsstatus, Akkreditierungsart usw.) mithilfe der Schaltfläche „Filter hinzufügen“ optimieren (siehe die gelben Markierungen im Screenshot) und nach Auswahl der gewünschten Filter auf "Suche starten" klicken.
